Groveland is full of events throughout the year from concerts to art, chocolate to wine, quilts and shrimp feeds, something for everyone

For such a small town, you won't ever find yourself bored. Our Chamber members make a point of entertaining visitors throughout the year from the summer concert series at the Groveland Hotel's Yosemite Court Yard Theatre featuring tribute bands and Mountain Sage's early evening concerts featuring blues & bluegrass, to Evergreen Lodge's mix of music for all and the Iron Door Saloon with live bands every weekend.

There's wine series at the Hotel Charlotte with sommelier hosted dinners, wine discoveries on even Fridays at the Groveland Hotel and the Southern Tuolumne County Historical Society's Annual Wine Cruise. Even the Tuolumne river rafting companies get in on the fun with wine themed rafting trips.

This town can't be beat for festivals from the Chamber's annual 49er Festival and Chili Cook-off to the bi-annual Quilt Festival and the twice-annual Strawberry Music Festival. We celebrate our gold, music and arts heritage.

Our local service clubs put on a host of events from the Rotary's Night at the Races to the Soroptimist's Autumn Boutique. There are the many pubic picnics at the stables and oodles of golf tournaments for both fun and fundraising, but the most popular has long been a Groveland Styled Halloween.
